When we think about our careers, career transition or career progression, too often we forget about the blessings that we can be grateful for when focusing on what we want in our careers.
As a career coach I coach holistically – and ensure that you have balance in your life. Your career is one aspect of your life and, yes, it provides meaning, satisfaction, financial reward, a sense of belonging and so much more, however, you can gain happiness from so many other things that you already have that, too often, are taken for granted.
I wish for you good health and happiness. Despite the challenges we face, let’s be mindful of the good things in our lives.
I was thinking this morning of the physical and mental challenges everyone has experienced in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic – they have been immense.
However, there are blessings in our lives every day that can make us smile. I created a beautiful infographic for you to download and print out as a daily reminder.
Here are some of the things I am grateful for:
❤️ When my alarm goes off, I know I’m ALIVE
❤️ When I make myself a cup of tea, I appreciate I am ABLE
❤️ When I look out of my window, I appreciate I can SEE
❤️ I can to CONNECT with my loved ones wherever they may be through the internet and telecommunications
❤️ I have the choice to exercise for my HEALTH
❤️ I pay taxes and therefore grateful that I can EARN
❤️ I count my blessings because I CAN
